Homeshake is the Montreal-based project of Peter Sagar, who many may best recognize as Mac Demarco’s old guitarist (during the 2 era). Since he left the band he’s gone on to release a bunch of sexy bedroom electronic music as Homeshake. On February 3, 2017 he will release their new record Fresh Air via Sinderlyn.
Sagar and his band stopped into Baby’s All Right in Williamsburg on November 26 (for the first of two shows that night) to test some songs off the record, and seduce the crowd with offerings from their previous two albums. The set was short and sweet, with no encore (which Sagar explained they just don’t do), but they had the crowd in a trance like state from start to finish. When it was all said and done, they were backstage preparing for round 2.
