On March 10 Spanish garage rockers The Parrots came all the way from Madrid to make their NYC live debut. The show was originally going to go down at Shea Stadium, but had to be moved to Sunnyvale do to Shea Stadium dealing with issues from the authorities, which has forced them to temporarily shut down.
But the show must go on, and The Parrots played their first show to a very young and very wild audience. Their 12-song setlist was mainly taken from their debut album Los Niños Sin Miedo which they released last year via PIAS. There’s always something great about seeing a band play a dirty, sweaty show at a DIY venue like Sunnyvale, where nothing else matters but the band, the crowd, and their shared connection.
