On April 7, just one day after rocking out on a boat opening for Gogol Bordello, Denver rockers Devotchka kept the fun going with a sold out show at Mercury Lounge. This was dubbed a “late late show” with doors at midnight, and the band taking the stage at about 12:40 a.m, with no opener.

They rocked the packed Mercury Lounge well into the night, a party celebrating the massive amount of worldly influences that they incorporate into their music, spanning their entire career. They even added a welcome cover of the Ben E. King classic, “Stand By Me.”
