Yellow House is the project of Emile van Dango, a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Cape Town, South Africa. After trying to venture through the various genre waves that flood the music scene in Cape Town, van Dango instead opted to dream up a unique universe of his own.
He’s released his debut EP A Carnival of Fears, and based on the lush dreaminess of EP cut “”It Feels the Same Everyday,” it seems like he’s certainly lived up to his promise of dreaming up his own universe. From the vocals, to the electronic swirls that graciously welcome that groovy bassline, this song is an absolute delight to sink into.
