On July 21, the world of metal descended upon Brooklyn where Iron Maiden headlined the first of two night at Barclays Center. They brought along Swedish heavy metal group GHOST, who are in tour in support of their 2016 EP Popestar, released via Loma Vista Recordings.
We last saw the group at Lollapalooza in 2013, back when they were known as Ghost B.C. The group have their original name back and a new look lineup and look. They sounded even better than I remembered, bringing some serious riffs with some sneakily catchy hooks hidden beneath the dark surface.
