Cape Weather is the California collaboration between Oakland’s Natalie Smith and Los Angeles’ Eric Jackowitz. They both have had careers in music for years. Natalie previously released her own music under the name Jean Terrace, while Eric has played drums for Nick Waterhouse and believe it or not “Telephono” is the groups debut single.
They both love their power pop, which brought them together to make a love letter to their favorite music. This resulted in their nostalgia-soaked debut single “Telephono” a track that absolutely reels you in with infectious vocals and vintagre sounds that are done right in a modern lens.
