Brother Moses hail from Arkansas, which is a nice change of pace to see, as we don’t quite see too many bands coming out of there (or we are just not paying good enough attention).

My introduction to Brother Moses came through their song “Circles,” a patient yet groovy guitar rocker that moves at its own speed, but works its magic on you as it goes along. The clean-cut guitar work combines nicely with those easy-going vocals. It goes full out during it’s climax towards the end of the song, rewarding the listener with efvery passing second.

Here’s how Brother Moses describe the influence behind the track:

a beautiful place home to outdated and problematic ideas, ones that are especially present in thousands of Southern Baptist churches, just like the one where frontman James Lockhart spent most of his childhood. “Circles” is a song about that.

Enjoy “Circles” below and find it available to purchase on iTunes.
