Westward are a high energy power trio from Salt Like City comprised of members Andrew Marshall, Karl Grimm and Matt Morrison. They’re the self-described style of “Cowboy Space Rock” lives up to the promise on single and title track of their new album The Empire Of Deception,” finding a rather huge and bombastic style that straddles the line of say Muse and Queens. The band goes all on their sound and have a confident approach that allows this over-the-top style to actually work.
