Human Potential is the project of Andrew Becker, former drummer for bands such as Medications and Screens. This year saw him release his new album Hot Gun Western City via his own label, What Delicate Recordings.
What caught my ear from the record is the experimental rocker “Apparitioning.” It reminds me of some of the work of Women (now Preoccupations/fka Viet Cong) with some interesting post-punk ideas that are by no means traditional, but create quite a sound that is pretty distinctly off-beat and different.
