Lo Noom is Andrew Newman, a 19-year-old producer, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist out of small-town Mississippi who has been churning out some catchy lo-fi indie rock for the last five years, all from his basement. He says he’s ready to make a name for himself and get his music out to a larger audience. Well based on his track “Dreary,” he’s certainly well on the way of achieving his goal.

It’s a delightful and charming lo-fi effort with a ton of heart and soul, with a lush, dreamy soundscape that is well-accompanied by some wonderful vocals. Thing is, it’s actually taken from his 2015 release Groovy. He followed that up with his 2016 EP Pretty Woman.

We hope to get even more music from him in the future, as clearly this kid has a real future in the world of music.

For now, enjoy “Dreary” below and go check out his other stuff on his bandcamp, where you can grab everything for whatever price you want.
