Nashville, Tennessee singer Ellie Schmidly released her debut EP Blossom and Bone on May 11 and we are quite taken by its first single “Where To Begin.”
With some haunting vocals that have this loose floaty quality, what’s most impressive is the way she navigates the pretty instrumentals that compliment her vocals throughout its runtime. There are even some Grizzly Bear-esque breakdowns throughout, proving that although this may be some of her first recorded work, she’s already an accomplished voice in music ready to be heard.
