Duck Sauce, the electronic dance tag team duo of DJ’s A-Trak and Armand Van Helden, have finally announced their debut record. It’s appropriately titled Quack and will come out April 15 via Fool’s Gold. That’s the album art posted above.
They announced the album with a very clever and hilarious teaser video that should set the standard for how album’s are released from now on. Find the video below along with the album tracklist. Read the rest of this entry »
Last week saw the return of Duck Sauce with the release of new single “It’s You.” It features a barbershop style bit, so it’s only right that the music video takes place in a barbershop. It’s a pretty refreshingly fun video that was a pleasure to watch. It’s pretty fun and care free, just like the song.
Duck Sauce haven’t released a new single in a while, which is why it’s a pleasant surprise that they’re back with a new single called “It’s You.” It was debuted on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show yesterday, and a radio rip has surfaced. The thing that I like about Duck Sauce is the simplie nature of their songs which just aim to please. “It’s You” is no different.
Duck Sauce, the duo of Armand Van Helden and A-Trak kept the days dance vibes strong with a exciting set. The two of them couldn’t stop laughing and smiling throughout the set, showing a strong sense of friendship that helps create such a joyful sound. “Barbra Streisand” and “Big Bad Wolf” didn’t disappoint, and how could they? Such big jams are tailor-made for festival stages.
Duck Sauce are back with a new single: the somewhat darker toned “Big Bad Wolf”. It doesn’t quite have the same shine as “Barbara Streisand”, but then again, that’s just plain unfair to expect. It’s fun and memorable in it’s own way, and I’m sure it will sound much better once we have a high quality track.
Take a listen to a radio rip from a BBC Radio 1 Show:

A few weeks ago I posted the absolutely infectious party jam “Barbara Streisand” from Duck Sauce, the duo of A-Trak and Armand Van Helden. It’s already a party staple at our house here. People can’t get enough of the jam.
It’s finally getting a release as an official single on October 12th via Fool’s Gold.
They just released it’s star featured music video. Chromeo, ?uestlove, Kanye, Santigold and Ezra Koenig are just some of the featured guests. They even add some new parts to the song exclusively for the video.
It’s a pretty great music video. Check it out below:

This is the ultimate dance party jam right now. The timeliness of the “Barbara Streisand” is too good for words. It comes from Duck Sauce, the amazing Brooklyn duo of Armand Van Helden and A-Trak who pump out delicious electronic delights like it’s nothing.
I posted the Baby Diego Edit before, but no I got the original edit in full glory for you all to blast at your next party. Everyone in my house has been digging the hell out of this. Here’s to hoping you do too:
I was just browsing through my inbox when I came across a mysterious remix of Duck Sauce’s (A-Trak & Armand Van Helden) “Barbera Streisand”. It was credited as the Baby Diego Edit From Scratch. No idea who you are buddy, so please let us know who you are if you see this.
I didn’t know about Duck Sauce until I saw this remix, so I’m really glad that it found me. I can’t find a regular studio version of “Barbera Streisand” right now, but I will keep you posted. For now, you can watch Duck Sauce play it live below:. Should help you get a better idea for what the regular version is all about. Something tells me this is going to be a must have party anthem for the rest of 2010:
