“Aerosol Can” is a track off the album and it features Pharrell Williams who continues his winning streak with this track, which features a tight beat and some great production in general.

Major Lazer’s video for “Scare Me” features appearances from actor Terry Crews, Nick Kroll, Blake Anderson, and Lauren London. The song itself features Peaches and Timberlee. The video is one big nutty ride.
Is it wrong of me to say that the video far surpasses the song? See for yourself, it’s posted below.

Major Lazer have returned with a new track featuring Ezra Koenig from Vampire Weekend. It’s called “Jessica” and it is a reggae-influenced track with a mix of Ezra’s always welcomed vocals as well a bridge that’s close to spoken word. It’s a very laid-back track for Major Lazer, and I think they’ve hit it out of the park.
Listen to a radio rip of it below, via Team Vampire Weekend.
Major Lazer return with a new single off their upcoming LP, Free The Universe. It’s a catchy number titled “Watch Out for This (Bumaye)” that features Busy Signal, The Flexican, and FS Green.
Free The Universe drops April 15 via Secretly Canadian (surprising, I know).
“Jah No Partial” is the new Major Lazer single, featuring Flux Pavilion while also sampling John Osbourne’s “Mr Marshall”. In Major Lazer fashion this is a big bass heavy song that treads a fine line between going to the dark waters of dubstep. There are some pretty cool production moments, thanks to the always capable Diplo. You wouldn’t be wrong if you expect to eventually hear this at clubs.
Without former member Switch and hype man Skerrit Bwoy, one could have been wondering if Major Lazer would live up to their hype as a wild live show. Ah, who am I kidding? I knew that Diplo would make it work. A lot of credit has to go to their new hype man, Walshy Fire, who did an incredible job getting the crowd into a frenzy that last from the start to the literal last second.
I’m honestly usually more frustrated than impressed with a hype man, so Walshy Fire should pat himself on the back. Anyone who makes the journey into the crowd in a giant human ball is alright in my book. New teammate Jillionaire and the groups two dancers were full of energy and plenty of rock, creating arguably the best time of the entire weekend.

Earlier today Zane Lowe premiered a new Major Lazer song called “Original Don” on his BBC Radio 1 show. Seattle radio station 107.7 The End has a rip of the dance ready song that is just screaming to be drunkenly shared on hipster and frat parties, alike.
Give it a spin below via 107.7 The End:
Major Lazer have uploaded an unreleased song called “German Elephant Killer” on their facebook page. It’s the first time the song has been made available, hence the band calling it a new old song.
The band are working on the follow up to Guns Don’t Kill People… Lazers Do in Jamaica right now. Chances are it will sound a lot different than “German Elephant Killer”.
Major Lazer (Diplo + Switch) and UK duo La Roux have collaborated to bring you a free mixtape that will drop this Wednesday via Mad Decent. Major Lazer made the tape when they were in Jamaica. It features guest appearances from the likes of Drake, Gucci Mane, and Amanda Blank.
A free mixtape from these two acts? Sounds like a good deal to me. Take a peak at the tracklisting below:
