Stumbleine – Honeycomb

By Will Oliver, November 13th 2012

“Honeycomb” is a divine cut from Stumbleine’s debut LP, Spiderwebbed. It’s simply a beautiful cut that will freeze time and free you of everything but your focus on the mesmerizing track. It’s blissful and beautiful, and something worth submerging yourself into entirely.

Download it below via XLR8R, who are also streaming the album, which came out today.

Last month we heard a great cover of “Fade Into You” from Bristol-based producer Stumbleine. It will appear on his debut album Spiderwebbed, which drops November 13th via Monotreme Records.

“The Beat That My Heart Skips” is another track from the album, and it’s a lovely track. Heavy on the electronic atmosphere, the lush vocals of featured guest CoMa will take you away. It’s a good result.

Stumbleine – Fade Into You (Feat. Steffaloo)

Stumbleine, an electronic artist hailing from Bristol, UK, has premiered the first song from his debut album, Spiderwebbed. It’s a daft cover of Mazzy Star’s instant classic, “Fade Into You”, featuring L.A.-based singer Steffaloo on vocals.

“Fade Into You” is one of those songs that everyone probably wants to cover, but it’s easier said than done. Stumbleine & Steffaloo don’t stumble in any one, recapturing the essence of this beauty in a new light. It’s magical, and every bit worth your time.

It’s one of those covers that made me want to listen to the original over and over again. That’s a sign of a good cover if you ask me.
