Yeasayer have released a video for the funky jam “Reagan’s Skeleton”. It shows them playing the song live, and shot with a vintage look that definitely fits the Reagan time period. It was directed by Iain Forsyth & Jane Pollard.
Yeasayer are doing something different than you’re typical album stream. They’ve made things more interesting doing it with an internet scavenger hunt. They have worked with Yoshi Sodeoka to create visual videos of each song from their new album Fragrant World. The videos are hidden on youtube, and required clues that the band gave on twitter.
Here was the letter they released detailing the event:
Fans have done a good job, unlocking 9/10 of the songs. Only one remains. I’ll update with the links once they are all up. Remember, the links are only good until Friday at 8 p.m. Eastern Time.

Last week, Yeasayer stopped by Australian radio station Triple J to take part in their Like A Version segment. They covered Seal’s “Crazy”, and the result is a loose folk arrangement that’s slightly geared towards the sound found on their debut album, All Hour Cymbals. I really like this cover, and if you were turned off by the sound found on Odd Blood, this may be more up your ally.
