Oakland indie rockers Rogue Wave recently released their brand new album Delusions of Grand Fur, which came out via Easy Sound Recording Co. They’re currently on tour in support of the record, and are making their way to our neck of the woods this weekend.

This Friday and Saturday they have pair of shows at Bowery Ballroom and Music Hall of Williamsburg, both of which you can still grab tickets for (Bowery here, MHOW here). Annie Hart (of Au Revoir Simone) will open the Bowery show, while Hey Marseilles will open MHOW.

If you’re still in need of tickets, you’re in luck. I got a pair of tickets for both shows to give away to two lucky winners. To enter to win, simply send me an email at weallwantsomeone@gmail.com with either Rogue Wave: Bowery or Rogue Wave: MHOW in the subject. In the body, leave the name that you’d want to be left on the will call guest list. Winners will be notified early day of the show.

Good luck!

Next Monday night (March 21) Oscar will return to New York for his first non-CMJ performance at Baby’s All Right. The show will come as a precursor to the release of his debut album Cut and Paste, which will be released via Wichita Records on May 13.

The show at Baby’s will be your first chance to take in the new songs off the album, as well as his first proper show in New York, as all the rest were brief CMJ performances. I’ve seen Oscar a handle of times now and can say that you do not want to miss his show, especially at a spot like Baby’s where you’ll be able to get up close and personal. Hiccup and Frances Rose will open the show.

Tickets for his performance are still available to purchase but we got a pair to give away to one of you guys. To enter the contest, simply email me at weallwantsomeone@gmail.com with Oscar @ Baby’s as the subject. In the body be sure to leave the full name that you’d want on the guest list, be sure to have a matching ID of some sort with the name that you give.

Good luck!

Win Tickets To See Seratones In NYC Next Week

By Will Oliver, February 10th 2016

Seratones

Shreveport, Louisiana soul-rockers Seratones will make their return to New York next week, their first stop back here since their run during CMJ last October. They’ll head to Manhattan for a show at Mercury Lounge on Tuesday, February 16, and then head to Brooklyn for a performance at Shea Stadium on Wednesday, February 17.

We can expect to hear some new cuts from their soon to be released debut album, making this your best oppurtunity to get a sneak peak at the band before they eventually breakthrough in a big way. Based on what I saw during their CMJ performance, it’s only a matter of time.

You can grab tickets to their Mercury Lounge show here and Shea Stadium show here. However, I just happen to be giving away a pair of tickets to both shows. To enter for a chance to win, simply email me at weallwantsomeone@gmail.com with the subject Seratones, and let me know which show you’re entering for, along with your full name (that you’d want to use at will call).

Good luck!
