TV On The Radio stopped by Letterman to play their new single, “Mercy.” It may not have been as good as their performance of “Wolf Like Me” from a few years back (which to this day is one of my favorite late night TV performances ever), but its still a tight one.
Queens Of The Stone Age stopped by Jimmy Kimmel before their stop at Lollapalooza. Some genius put them on as the same time as New Order, forcing many of us to make one of the hardest decisions of the weekend at Lollapalooza. It’s going to be a tough call.
Last night Houndmouth stopped by Letterman to lay down a great performance of “Ludlow.” Crazy to see these guys play on the Letterman stage, but they’ve truly earned it. The future is only going to bring more good things their way.
Believe it or not, The Postal Service’s appearance on The Colbert Report was their first late night television appearance ever. They played “Such Great Heights” & “A Tattered Line Of String.” There’s also a great interview with Colbert and the band. Just seeing the band’s reaction when he asks if they will make a new album is worth a watch. Read the rest of this entry »
