If there was ever a way to get me to listen to a Drake song constantly, getting Arctic Monkeys to cover it is a pretty good way to do it. They did just that when they covered Drake’s latest single, “Hold On, We’re Going Home.” They covered it live during there performance on BBC Radio 1′s Live Lounge.
It’s pretty freaking good, and of course Turner throws in a “tha knows” in there for good measure. Honestly, this would have fit in perfectly on AM.
Vampire Weekend had fun with their cover for BBC Radio 1′s Love Lounge as they went with Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines.” They had a good time making it and they actually make it sound like a damn good time. They don’t pass up T.I.’s verse either, taking it on in full stride.
The Vaccines stopped by BBC Radio1′s Live Lounge and performed their single “Teenage Icon” (listen to audio here). Bands usually choose a song to cover for their Live Lounge sessions, and The Vaccines went the pop route, choosing to cover Taylor Swift’s ” We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together”. Yeah.
It’s totally tongue in cheek and pretty much sounds as described. Guess they had fun with it.

Lana Del Rey has been remixed and covered probably more than anyone else in recent memory. It’s totally warranted. She apparently has finally officially announced that she is signed to Interscope Records, a move that shouldn’t be surprising. It is a move that’s going to keep the haters hating for her being marketing as an indie artist. That’s an argument for another day.
Kasabiant aren’t one of those haters. They recently covered “Video Games” for their BBC Live Lounge Session. It doesn’t change up the song at all, but why fix something that’s clearly not broken.
Coldplay covered Rihanna’s “We Found Love” as a part of their session for BBC Radio 1′s Live Lounge. Makes sense since the band teamed up with the pop star for Mylo Xyloto track, “Princess Of China”. The band also played “Paradise” and “Hurts Like Heaven”.
