With all of Damon Albarn‘s musical projects, it’s hard to believe that he hasn’t released a proper solo album yet. But that will change in 2014, as he has hinted in a short album teaser just released a few days ago.
The teaser briefly shows Albarn at a piano, as a piano-led track with some electronic beats plays over. It’s a quick blip of a sample, but it’s sounding good.
Cloud Nothings have released a short video trailer for their new album, which is due out sometime in 2014. The band shared a link to the trailer yesterday on their FB page. The trailer features some new material playing over footage of them in the recording studio.
Based on the short samples that we get to hear in the trailer, the album sounds like a continuation of the direction that they took on 2012′s awesome Attack On Memory.
Liars will return with a new album on Mute Records in March. The album is currently being completed at their Los Angeles studio.
The band said that the process was nearly the opposite of their last album, WIXIW. In the press release, Liars’ Angus Andrew insisted that the album has been “immediate, fun, instinctual and confident.”
They teased the new album with the release of three short trailers featuring some new tunes. Find all three posted below. Read the rest of this entry »

ceo, who you know better as Eric Berglund of The Tough Allience, has released a little teaser featuring some new music from what may be an upcoming album release. What we hear is sounding pretty cool. Looking forward to hearing the full versions of the stuff included.
Arcade Fire have released a new teaser, in promotion of new album Reflektor. It’s a teaser called “Afterlife” which features a little video trailer featuring loads of people preparing for some great event (the afterlife?) leading up to a small but cool preview of “Afterlife”, one of the new songs off of Reflektor.

Believe it or not, it’s been three years (!) since James Mercer/Danger Mouse’s collaboration group Broken Bells released their debut album. Time sure does fly.
Today they released a video teaser for their new album on their website. The album is titled After The Disco, and will be released in Janury 2014. The teaser includes a new song that sounds heavy funk/disco oriented, reminding me a lot of Empire Of The Sun.
Excited to hear the full thing. I can always use some new James Mercer.

We Are Scientists released a fewsingles over the summer, and they’ve just announced that they will also release a brand new EP this fall (no idea if the songs will be on the EP). It’s called Business Casual, and it’s coming out October 15.
They announced the EP with this following trailer, which ends with what sounds like one pretty incredible song. Can’t wait until October. Find the trailer below.
